| SAT PREP | ||||||
| SAT Prep is a WONDERFUL opportunity for students to prepare for, and hopefully ace, the SAT while getting an elective credit through school. We use the BEST workbook and study guide on the market, Gruber's SAT. Essentially, we will work through the book together, just as the students could do on their own, but by taking the class through CHS, they can earn an elective credit and get assistance from me! What a deal, right? Students rotate week-by week between my class and a verbal section with Ms. Ewart. In the math section, we will not only review the mathematical content covered on the SAT, but we will discuss strategies for answering questions as well. While most of the students will be taking the SAT I, we will also prepare students for the upcoming SAT II, which begins in March 2005. |
