J.A. TOPF & SONS: built crematoriums for Auschwitz
TESCH/STABENOW: provided Zyklon B to Auschwitz
DEGESCH: provided Zyklon B to Auschwitz
Other Civilian and Military Factories:
KRUPP, THYSSEN, SIEMENS, REG, GUSTLOFF
*These are just a few examples of the business that benefited from slave labor. There are
many more.
WHO KNEW ABOUT THE CONCENTRATION CAMPS:
Some of the people who knew something about the camps:
Financial institutions that received and disbursed goods and funds taken from the Jews.
Businessmen who benefited from the Aryanization process.
Health Ministry employees who were concerned about conditions in the camps.
Ministers of Foreign Affairs that answered questions about the camps.
Manufacturers of the poison gases.
Manufacturers of the crematoriums.
Guards who were sworn to secrecy.
Railway employees.
People in the villages in which prisoners embarked from the railroad station.
People who saw the prisoners walking near their villages.
People who taunted the prisoners.
*The number of people who knew something of the camps is not known. Many people, though, obviously knew something.
