Meredwyn Marquaise Trainer
Age: 27
Height: 5'9"
Weight: around 135
Hair: Almost a silver white, hangs to her mid-back, curly.
Eyes: Deep blue, with unusually long lashes.
Family: Father, Sh'mere, dragonrider, deceased
Mother, Anadwyn, woodcrafter, retired
No brothers or sisters
Desc: Tall, very fair-haired, and with eyes that can cause most to do a double take...Meredwyn is buxom, but in no way plump. Mostly muscular from working with her dragon or simply lots of exercise, she can wear anything well...even at her height. She prefers loose fitting sleeveless tops under vests, and figure hugging pants. One ear is pierced and a small gemstone earring hangs from it. Not one for using weapons all that much, she is more comfortable using her wits, or her fists to get out of situations that might prove detrimental to her health. She has been called 'masculine' by many, and while this isn't the case, she has been known to happily partake of mating flights for her dragon with those pursuers having both male and female riders.
Born of a rider father, and a woodcrafter mother, she has the skills of both....having learned much under their tutelage. When she wants to relax, she carves...making her apartment a bit of a mess! After she was taken on Search to stand at a hatching at Whiteriver, and joining to her life partner, she heard of a wraith attack at the warren where her father and mother lived. Upon hearing of her father's death, she threw herself into her work, often only being seen to fly if needed, or offering to help with the newest hatchings. Many know that she's there, but in all honesty, some don't even remember her name, as she is so rarely seen.
Special talents:
Her one claim to fame, if it can be called that, is something that she herself has a hard time understanding. She is slowly learning to control it....as the ability seems to get stronger as she gets older. If a dragon is seriously injured, she seems to slip into a trance of sorts, and can, by touching the injured dragon...tell healers exactly where the injury is, and if needed...even how to treat it. Her touch also appears to have a calming effect on both dragon and rider.
Personality:
Quite the vocal type...when she's around people enough. Not afraid at all to speak her mind, and usually disregards the consequences of her words. Also just as quick to apologize if her words hurt....but she sticks by her convictions. Flirty with most anyone...just for fun usually. Businesslike and serious when it comes to her work, and totally adamant about being interrupted if she's doing something. Unattached, but capable of loving or caring for the right person. She simply acknowledges that the right person either isn't around, or she hasn't found him or her yet. Protective of her friends...though she hasn't all that many...being a sort of loner. Hesitent to share her innermost feelings, she puts on a brave front if she's hurting....but readily floods her dragon with tears when she cries in private.

Dragon: Gwendalth
Sex: Female
Color: Brilliant scarlet with an ebony splash over the head and back to swirl over her back and wings.
Age: 10 years.
Personality: Daring, willing to try or do anything, just to see if it can be done! Flirty, and a tease around other dragons. Sneaky flyer in mating flights. Intellegent and sharp-witted. Friendly to most everyone, but if her rider is hurting or just in a bad mood...look out. Her rumbles of warning and hisses to steer clear can be readily heard most everywhere. Almost motherly to new hatchlings though....and unusually patient with both dragons and new riders. She's not above 'dragon-sitting' is a new rider needs to go eat or just take a walk....and listens to the new dragons with a caring attitude.
Special abilities: Has the knack of getting any dragon's attention...but usually saves it for new hatchlings...to keep their attention on anything that is being taught. Andif they don't understand something...she manages to clear things up and explain things in a simpler manner. She prefers the young ones....as she tells her rider, they help keep her on her toes!
