Gol and Foehn

Gol Orgun, G'Orgun (prefers Gol) AGE: 34 GENDER: Male EYES: Deep, a piercing brown. HAIR: Long, black and pulled back. HEIGHT: 5'5" WEIGHT: 210 APPEARANCE: He has a long black beard which falls to almost his waist, and his hair on his head is down to mid-back Generally covered in soot because of his love of the forge, Gol has little time for outward appearances, at least his own. Underneath all that soot, however, lies an incredibly muscled form due in no small part to all the work he puts in making swords. ABILITIES: Gol has a gift when it comes to seeing metal. He can spy tiny weaknesses and flaws and can also pick out wonderfully pure veins or ore. The ability that completely shocks others, though, is his attention to detail not just in the forge, but outside it as well. While seeming like a brute of a person due to how little he speaks, Gol is a gentle person who sees much beauty in the world, even those whose beauty is not apparent. HISTORY: Gol was born in one of the outlying towns where he started smithying at a young age under the tutelage of his father. Since his life was in a forge, he grew up a quiet and reserved young man, and spoke little, though what he did speak generally was of value. On the day he turned seventeen, Gol joined with his dragon and from that day forward, he worked on the metal with the help of the dragon. For many years, he toiled under his father, learning the trade and improving on many methods. One day, the unexpected happened when Gol's father died during an accident in the forge. In the tradition of his family, though, Gol continued to work at his father's business until he felt he'd attained enough knowledge to call himself a master smith. One day, Gol decided that he should see the land about him, so he closed up shop, and went touring around the Dragonlands. He met many wonderful people and saw many beautiful lands, and then found himself in Whiteriver Warren where he asked to be placed in a location where he would be the most use. PERSONALITY: A very quiet man, Gol rarely gets into any kind of conflict at all. He much prefers the company of his dragon and the metal to any human, though he tries to see the inner beauty in all he meets. Despite his chiselled appearance, Gol is actually very soft inside, and spends much time admiring beauty wherever he finds it. In conversation, Gol is thoughtful and frequently insightful, though not overly intelligent or cunning. He guards his opinions and beliefs, which he holds dearly and quite strongly. Foehn RACE: Dragon AGE: 14 GENDER: Male COLOR: Soot-black for the majority, though the underbelly has a long streak of indigo and the top of the nose and tail tip have an aubergine tinge. APPEARANCE: Extremely large dragon with an intense hot fire. Teeth are short, yet razor sharp, except the fangs which overlap the mouth both up and down. PERSONALITY: Slow in the air, but not slow upstairs. Generally very quiet like Gol, and preferring solitude to being around others. Tends to get uncomfortable in large groups of dragons and avoids other humans. With Gol only, has a fairly good sense of humour, developed from the mutual trust.
