Treasure
Can you put a price upon
a child's laugh?
What about a warm summer's
day?
Are they not priceless
gifts?
To valuable to squander
Wasted and never appreciated
Dissimilar miracles from
the same origins
Few from the many too
numerous
A lifetime of treasures
waiting
Carefully hidden away
For the time when the
key will be placed in the lock
And all of life's
beauties will pour forth
From the chest held within
each of us
