This picture (representing a promotional wallpaper for his 2002 record, Colony) is really far too pretty to be spoiled by words breaking the pitch black tone, but since it seems that I have already broken this particular term, I will shade a bit of light on the matter...

Composer Bjorn Lynne is still known to most fans as Dr. Awesome, the man who made mod. files sound cool and had every frantic gamer ranting and raving about Worms and its ahead of time computer music. To most people mod. files seem insignificant if they even know what they are, and up to date mod. files are very much useless, but when one has the advantage of having had the opportunity to have been exposed to both the ZX Spectrum and there after the Amiga 500, this statement becomes quite the opposite.
If you have any background knowledge on the Amiga, there is no need for me to even begin to explain Lynne's popularity amongst those who have bought his records, records that range from containing some of his very early 90's works to some of his new-age millennia works. If you have lost touch with what the man has been up to since the generic PC replaced the Amiga, then this link is where you can get yourself up to date. Sign up for the newsletter direct from the hand of the man himself, Bjorn Lynne.
