| Military Wives-The Silent Ranks I wear no uniform, no Blues or Army dress greens, But I am in the Military ranks rarely seen, I have no rank upon my shoulders, Salutes I do not give, But the Military world is a place I do live. I'm not in the Chain of Command, Orders I do not get, But my husband is the one who does, this I cannot forget, I'm not the one who fires the weapons, who puts my life on the line, But my job is just as tough, I'm the one who's left behind. My husband is a Patriot, a brave and prideful man, And the Call to serve his country not all can understand, Behind the lines I see the things needed to keep this Country free, My Husband makes the sacrafice, as do our kids and me. I Love the man I married, Soldiering is his life, But I stand among the silent ranks known as a Military Wife. Author Unknown |

| Well you found my page, Welcome! I'm Crystal, you can just call me Chrys. I was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 7, 1977. Where I lived untill I graduated from Southwester Sr. High School in June of 1996. In July of 96 I moved to Jacksonville, Nc and met my husband Jody. I'v been a military wife for 5 years and very proud of it. Jody was in the Marine corp for 4 1/2 of those years then we decided he would join the Air force. Just in case you see I love my Marine and I love my Airman and wonder why I have both. |
