 Ayla:
Ayla is a
prehistoric woman from
65 000 000BC. She is in most peoples minds the strongest
character in the game, that is, with physical attacks. If
you take the time to level her up (say high 90's), with a
critical hit, she can cause 9999 points of damage, no
matter what, that is unless the enemy if immune to
physical attacks.
Ayla meets Crono
and the gang, when they go to her time in search of the
dreamstone in order to fix the Masamune. She saves them
from the reptites and then invites them to her village,
here, she holds a party, and Crono has a competition with
her to get the DreamStone.
