History of Chrono Trigger
Chrono Trigger is an RPG (Role-Playing Game). In 1995, Chrono Trigger was released on the SNES (Super Nintendo) by SquareSoft. At that time, Chrono Trigger was a big hit among many gamers. It was like a break-though RPG game. It was one of those games you would just want to have. It was a game with great storyline, which many games should stive to get. It had a unique battle system introducing Dual and Triple Techs where 2 or 3 partymembers work work together to make a Tech/Magic attack. Plus, it had a great cast of characters (and non-supporting characters). It also had multiple endings, which made it all worthwhile. It was one of those "rare gems" that was like one of a kind.
In 1999, Chrono Trigger was released in Japan for the Playstation, with all new anime cutscenes added and system files (a memory block that stores cutscenes, music, etc. after beating the game). It was then in 2001 when it was released in North America for Playstation, along with Final Fantasy 4 to make Final Fantasy Chronicles.

Now, the game starts out like anyones normal day should, a young man (16 years old) named Crono gets woken up by his mother. That day wasn't like any other day, today was the Millenial Fair, which only comes every millenium (duh!). He is obviously excited. He goes to Leene Square where the fair was being held. He's walking around when, out of nowhere (or what it seemed to him), he bumps into a young woman his age. He sees that she dropped her pendant, and returns it to her. She asks if she may join him. And Crono, being the gentleman he is, lets her tag along. They have a wonderful time at the fair together. Then they check out Lucca's (Crono's friend) Telepod invention (takes you from one pod to the other). When Marle tries it out, her pendant seems to be glowing. The Telepod starts getting all these "volts" of energy and a blue "portal" appears. She gets pulled into it and it closes. Then Crono follows her with the pendant she drops......that's all I will tell you. I must tell you that this game is one of those games that you just want to keep playing. It takes you to different times like the prehistoric times, to a dull, lifeless future. The main storyline is to stop "acopalypse" from existing by taking out a massive, ferocious creature by the name of "Lavos". If you really want to know more, than PLAY THE GAME!

This game is a must have for all RPG fans because of its very original plot, characters, battles, soundtrack and most of all, its fun factor. So start playing the game and you may, too, like this game as much as I did when I played it!
