"It’s the hottest title on the shelf… Check your smoke detector!"

"OLyMPiC TRIALS and ERRORZ!"

Written by Angelo Decesare, penciled by Dave Manak, inked by Jon D’Agostino, lettered by Dan Nakrosis, colored by Barry Grossman.

Robotnik challenges the Freedom Fighters to compete in the First Robotropolis Olympic Games. If the FF win, Robo’ll give up the throne. If they loose, they must submit to roboticization. Robotnik tries to cheat by having Sonic’s indestructible shoes replaced by energy-draining copies; but Tails finds the real shoes in time for Sonic to save the day. Robotnik backs out on his promise in the end, of course.

Short but sweet.

"Sonic’s Ten Second Workout" 1-page gag strip

Sonic’s exercise program.

"Chomp on this, Chump!"

No credits given; presumably same team as first story…

Rotor sends away for an ant-farm, but it’s a trick of Robotnik’s—Rotor ends up with a mechanical termite by the name of "Termite-nator". It attempts to eat the FF out of house and home (literally), but Sonic glues the bot’s jaws shut with some of Sally’s extra-thick pancake batter. Rotor then reprograms the bot, and sends it back to Robotropolis.

A little silly, but then, that was normal at the time.

"Fast Food!" 1-page gag-strip

Sonic eats too fast.

Sonic-Grams

Shameless plugs of Sonic SatAM and Sonic Spinball, followed by two pages of letters, "torn through" by "Velocity Vic" and "Posthaste Paul".

Sonic reminds Zach Adams that the name of the letters page is "Sonic-Grams", NOT "Crabmeat-Grams".

Also, "a Fraternity of Freedom Fighters" (people who colored and sent in the panel from "Vertigo A Go Go!").
