Robotnik loves to pollute… and it shows!

"Rockin’ the ‘Bot!"

Written by Angelo Decesare, penciled by Dave Manak, inked by Harvey Mercadoocasio, colored by Barry Grossman, lettered by Dan Nakrosis.

Sonic rescues a magical frog, who gives him three stones with magic powers, in thanks. Sonic is skeptical of the frog’s tale, but when Robotnik attacks them on a trip through the Badlands, Sonic is forced to try to use the stones. Unfortunately, he can’t remember what the stones were supposed to do, and hilarious hijinks ensue.

…Just another of your average stories of the era—nothing special about it, but nothing wrong either.

"What’s the Big Idea?"

Written by Mike Kanterovich and Ken Penders, penciled by Art Mawhinney, inked by Harvey Mercadoocasio.

Rotor is locked away in his lab, and the others try to figure out what he’s up to. (Of minor historical note, Tails speculates he might be working on his "Universal Frammistat"—a device mentioned again much later…)

As it turns out, he’s inventing the Thermos. …(?!)

"Animal Magnetism"

Written by Angelo Decesare, penciled by Art Mawhinney, inked by Jon D’Agostino.

Robotnik constructs a giant magnet to capture Bunnie. Sonic trashes it, and Rotor coats Bunnies robotic parts with a solution that will make her non-magnetic.

Final Thoughts:

As with "Rockin’ the ‘Bot", nothing great but nothing wrong…
