Off Panel (92, 93)

3237: Sonic Adventure 2
The date for the year change-over is, as always, uncertain. I have placed it here because so much has already taken place in 3236, and after this point we have two points where the story jumps ahead a few months. By keeping those jumps in 37, we spread things out a bit. Also, while we know Sonic is away for about a year during 37-38, there is no reason he can't have left several months into 37, and returned several months into 38.

* A month and a half pass, unchronicled. During that time, Sally and Sonic are unable to see each other, and Geoffry runs the Kingdom through Elias. Knothole goes through many changes, including the construction of a castle.

*The New Order
    Sonic 94: “New Order”
        Sonic goes to school!
    Sonic 95: “Enemy Mine”

*Faux Fox Vs Emerald Echidna:
    Sonic 95: “When Destiny Calls”
    Sonic 96: “The Chosen One”
    Sonic 97: “To The Brink”

*Hedgehog in Disguise:
    Sonic 96: “The Messenger”
    Sonic 97: “My Secret Identity”
Sonic 98: “Sonic Adventure 2” -- Said to be three months after “Sonic Adventure”.

Sonic Adventure 2:
Eggman and Shadow take control of the Ark. Eggman uses the Eclipse Cannon to shatter the moon, and threatens to do the same to the world if the remaining free nations (such as Station Square) don't surrender. But then, Dr. Gerald's programing takes over, setting the cannon to destroy Mobius no matter what. Meanwhile, Sonic and Rouge make it onto the Ark. The heroes and villains join forces to defeat the Bio-Lizard and destroy the Eclipse Cannon before it's too late. However, in the end, Shadow must sacrifice himself to save the world.
-- The events of the Game, minus Tails, Amy, and Knuckles... Don't ask me how that works. See also, the flashback scenes in Sonic Universe 2.

*The Bem find Shadow floating unconscious and critically injured in space. They begin work to heal him.
-- Sonic 174: “Sonic Adventure 2.5: Alpha”. Shortly after “Sonic Adventure 2”.

Off Panel (96)

*Reunions and Decisions
Sonic 99: “Blow By Blow” -- late at night, then continuing the next day... The text indicates everything since the start of “New Order” happened on one day and night!

Sonic 99: “What Comes Around Goes Around”
Sonic 100: “Reunion” & “Welcome to the Dark Side” -- simultaneous. “Reunion” is shortly after “Blow By Blow”. “Welcome to the Dark Side” continues from “What Comes Around”, and continues into “Altered States”.

* Playing With History
Sonic 101: “Reboot” & some of “Altered States”
Sonic 102: “Life's Realities” & the rest of Sonic 101: “Altered States”
Just as the Freedom Fighters and Robians are leaving Robotropolis, Knuckles attempts to change history, creating several alternate timelines before he realizes he can't predict what will happen.

*Sonic 102: “Family Dys-Function”

Off Panel (102)

*Sonic Super Special 15: “Naugus Games”
Sonic returns to the southern tundra to honor Eddy. However, Naugus has left a surprise behind...
--The only possible place for this closer to publication order is between 78 & 79, but that slot is already crowded.

Sonic 122: “Afterlife” part 2
Sonic 122: “When There Was Only One Guardian”
-- between “Afterlife” parts 1 and 3.

“Ultimate Power 3” placed above

    “Robotnik's Return”
The Bem kidnap Sonic, Tails, Robotnik and Snively, and force them to compete with each other.

Part One: Sonic 122 / Part Two: Sonic 123
        Springtime.

* The Price of Flame
Part One: Sonic 155 / Part Two: Sonic 156
Dulcy decides to return home, in hopes of having her exile revoked. Instead, she accidentally leads Eggman's Robian Dragons to Vesuvio, risking the roboticization of the entire Dragon Species!
-- The presence of Robians makes this prior to “The Last Robian”, despite the fact that no other hint of the story being chronologically out-of-place was given when it was published.

*Sonic 123: “The Last Robian”
--This story covers several months.
*Off Panel (122, 123)

* Robotnik builds E123 "Omega". It is designed to destroy Sonic; however it will be put into storage shortly after completion.
-- Over a year prior to Sonic Universe 3: "Old Soldiers". Sonic must have been on Mobius while Omega was built, so this is the latest it could be. The fact that Robotnik never used Omega suggests he completed it very shortly before Sonic's dissapearance, which also indicates this placement.

*Sonic Adventure 2.5
Sonic 124: “Sonic Adventure 2.5: Alpha”
Sonic 125: “Sonic Adventure 2.5: Omega” -- Note: Pages 26 & 27 (of 28) seem to be transposed.

The Bem send Super Shadow to fight the Xorda, but he is defeated. The Xorda attack, and everybody on the planet fights them and loses. The Xorda set a bomb and leave, and Sonic sacrifices himself to destroy the bomb. Everybody but Eggman mourns him. Meanwhile, Sonic winds up on some asteroid in deep space.

Mobius: 25 Years Later

The destruction of the Xorda Gravity Bomb disrupted the time-stream, and will threaten to destroy Mobius in 25 years time. Can the future versions of Sonic and Knuckles overcome their differences in time to return to the past and set things aright? And even if they do, what will the new future be like...?

Sonic 131: Prologue

Sonic 132: “The Unveiling”
Sonic 133: “Midnight in the Garden”
    Sonic 134: “In Transit”
Sonic 135: “Dealing With the Devil”
    Sonic 136: “Girl Talk”
    Sonic 137: “Trouble in Paradise”
Sonic 138: “My Dinner With Sonic”
    Sonic 139: “Slumber Party”
Sonic 140: “A Difference of Opinion”
    Sonic 141: “Scenario”
    Sonic 142: “Moment of Truth”
    Sonic 143: “Father's Day” parts 1 & 2
Sonic 144: “The Die Is Cast”

-- Set here because of the Gravity Bomb and because the first M25YL timeline and the events of the comic seem to diverge at this point, suggesting this is the time Sonic and Knuckles traveled to. What they did in this era is unknown.
