Chapter 1 Chance Meetings

It was a dark night the moon shone brightly over the water. The sea pounded against the sand as Hunter was walking along the shore. He needed to think his mind in a whrill. He had been dreaming of her again.
His dreaming mind was fixated on the beautiful motocross racer Shi Tomoe. He had met the fiery dark beauty at a few championship races he and his brother competed in. He could not get her out of his mind.
She had invaded his dreams. He sighed for the dreams were quite erotic. He woke from them gasping for breath his body feeling spent from what he had been dreaming.
He had to smile remembering them. He always felt very relaxed after having those dreams. His brother would shoot him odd looks over breakfast. For Hunter would have a lazy smile and faraway look in his eyes.
Hunter blinked for he realized that up ahead there was someone sitting alone on the beach. He approached the person carefully walking silently for he was used to doing so.
The person he walked toward looked up and stood up. He realized that the girl he had been dreaming about was standing infrount of him. "Shi?" Hunter asked his voice carrying to her ears easily.
"Hunter." He could hear pain in her voice as he drew nearer he realized she been crying. He also realized she was trying to hide the tears in her voice. The strong fearless girl he remembered was crying. That angered him deeply and he did not know why.
Shi rushed Hunter suddenly and wrapped her arms around his waist, leaning on his shoulder. "I hate fighting with them. I swear he only does it to drive me out of the house." She confessed to him. "I hate arguing with my sister over stupid things. I really hate arguing with her boy toy. I hate fleeing and running away. Its just not me for I don't wish to hurt them Hunter. If they want alone time alls they have to do is ask. But no." Her voice trailed off getting lost in the sounds of the ocean pounding on the sand.
Hunter hugged her back feeling flashes of anger as she spoke to him. She was so thin, yet there was a strength within her that amazed him. He could feel it her spirit and body were stronger then most of the woman he meet in his time. His mind wandered back to the body that was pressed against him. Making it hard for him the think with its nearness. To him her build was perfect, tall and slim she had just the right amount of breast. Too many on the track would say hurtful things after she beat them. Blake had to hold him back from breaking several riders as they defamed the already on the move Shi.
"Walk with me?" Hunter asked looking down at her. Another thing he loved about her was her height. Standing at 5'9" she was quite tall and he did not have to bend nor careen his neck just to look at her.
They walked along the beach. Shi filled the silence by telling Hunter about living life in Killan's Harbor that was six hours away from Blue Bay Harbor.
Hunter had to smile. For Shi was quite colorful in her speech and descriptions of the people. They found a spot on the beach were they could not be spotted easily and talked till the sun started peeking over the ocean.
"Oh its late." Hunter spoke up surprised at seeing the sun coming up. He was surprised they had talked so long. Yet he was not it had been a long time since they talked.
"Or early." Shi said softly. "Let me get you home." They both stood with her comment and began the trek back to where Shi's jeep was.
Hunter and Shi failed to notice Tori staring at them from her spot on the beach. She had caught a few early morning waves and was standing with a perfect view of the duo.
Her blue eyes followed them as they climbed into a jeep. The Jeep was black with a lighting motif emblazoned on it. She could see that they were talking neither noticed her van. Even though the jeep and van were the only vehicles in the parking lot.
Tori was amazed at the closeness that the pair walked without holding hands or touching. She got her gear together in her van and took off to NinjaOps.
Meanwhile in the jeep the two continued to talk and listen to music that was softly playing for Shi's radio. "Yes lets." He looked at her. "thank you."
"Your welcome Hunter anytime." Shi smiled. "I'll have to keep coming up here. I don't know what drew me here. But I am sure glad it did." She gazed at him smiling a soft half formed smile.
"I am glad too." Hunter smiled. He knew that she would keep coming up to see him. It made a part of his soul sing. Part of him reminded him that Sensei was going to not be happy with him staying out all night even though it was now Saturday day morning.
Shi took Hunter back to his apartment he held with Blake. Kissing both his cheeks she wished him a good day.
Hunter watched as she pulled away and went indoors after he could not see her no longer. Walking up the stairs he unlocked and went inside, locking the door behind him.
Hunter blinked standing there was his brother, Shane, Dustin and Cam. "What are you three doing here this early?"
"Early morning training." Shane reminded him.
"Where were you last night Bro?" Blake asked Hunter.
"Out." Hunter said being short for he was suddenly felt like he was being courned and no one dared corner him, "Let me grab a shower then we can go." He growled as he disappeared into the bathroom before the others could form a protest.
All four looked at each other. Dustin shrugged, "He is your bro, Dude. Its not like any of us have any say."
Blake nodded Hunter soon joined them they all left for NinjaOps.
Inside NinjaOps Sensei looked at Hunter displeased. Even though Hunter had done all Sensei had asked of him that morning for training. There was the fact the elder of the thunder brothers had not slept yet.
Hunter stood infrount of Sensei knowing he was going to get punished over his not getting any sleep last night. He watched the wise guinea pig and mentally sighed. Suddenly getting an incite to what Shi must go though with her own sibling. For they were in the same boat. Their younger siblings were dating; Blake was with Tori, Hotaru was with Ki, and they both had no one.
Sensei sighed for Hunter seemed miles away that morning. He knew in his own way that Hunter had spent his time with a girl. He also knew in his own way that they had only talked. He could see the bonds forming between the two. Eventually they would be unable to resist the other, Sensei sighed.
"Hunter?" Sensei said snapping his errant student out of his mental wanders. Hunter looked at sensei suddenly fully aware of the fact he had not been paying attention. "Your punishment for staying out all night is a ten mile run."
"Yes Sensei." Hunter bowed and let NinjaOps to go do his run.
