"finally....they?re moving again.", said Mr.Tanner a bit weakly. He was looking at the family PC.

His furry friend had the MapQuest website on, tracking the progress of the Hong Kong Cavaliers. ?Well if they ran into our neighbor, the grouch, that would explain it. I?m telling ya, she?s got a bug up her @- M&M?"

?Why thank you Willie!? The creature took the candy offer immediately gulped. Poking Tanner in the back he asked, "So let me get this straight, Willie- you meet a group of strangers out of the wood work- literally, 20 minutes later or  so, you LOAN these guys 2 snowmobiles and Lynns? horse?!! And you say I'M OUT OF MY MIND?" HAH!" he marked his laughter with a sarcastic edge.

Mr. Tanner held a hand to his ear, attempting to hint the loudness. He gave up and replied, "Look, they're NOT total strangers, Lynn knows one of them- Just then the girl sprints across the room wearing a Banzai Institute Badge. Proudly she blurted out, "Isn't this like- totally AWesOme! Polished bronze! What a  gift!"

Both family members looked at her for a second, then they focused their attention back at their PC.

Without acknowledging, the furry compatriot chuckles, "Yea, sure kid... Its, its like- Galactic Baby!"

Undaunted, Lynn darted to her room and started dialing up a few of her friends.

Mr. Tanner continued speaking, "and besides- Doctor Banzai left some items here as collateral, they'll have to come back for their equipment. Right?" He picked up a small package and a pair of binoculars and began studying them.

The furry family member quickly turned to face him. "Banzai? As in the World famous Buckaroo Banzai the Hong Kong Cavaliers I see on TV?! Why didn't you say >something!!! I would loved to have met them!.. Man, you treat me like a real mushroom I swear!...Its criminal!"

"You were sleeping..."

"YO, you wouldn?t have introduced me- even if I wasn't alseep!" *

".... probably....", whispered Tanner under his breath.

"Wow!!...YO Willie!"

"Yes, ALF?"

"How far do you think Planet 10 is from Melmac?"

Adjusting his glasses, he mumbled, "How the heck would I know?!!"

----------

The hard Rocking Hong Kong Cavaliers arrived at a cabin. There were  several horses visible in a corral. A small red barn lay to the East. Thin veil of smoke spewed from the chimney of the small house.

?Here we are? said the rancher. She hopped off the back of Buckaroo?s snowmobile.

Perfect-Tommy, Reno, and Tommyboy cruised up next and halted.

The lady, turned, faced Rawhide whom was last to arrive. He trotted next to the  woman.

Perfect-Tommy spoke to break the silence, ?Nice place you have??Grace?.

?Thank you,? she answered. The woman turned her attention to the cowboy. ?Rawhide-You can leave April in the corral with the rest of my horses.?

He tipped his hat and maneuvered the horse Northward towards a primitive gate.

Perfect-Tommy didn?t understand his friends?acknowledgement as he scratched his head.

?Grace? picked up on this. ?The Tanners are my neighbors, they can come here to retrieve their horse as well as their snowmobiles.?

??oh??

"Doctor Banzai ?please accept my apologies for the earlier incident. Here are the keys to my Ford Bronco. I have to stay here and tend to my ?honey-do?  list."

"Thank you?wise choice of vehicles," he answered. H took the keys and replied, "We?ll leave your vehicle in Short-Term parking."

Continuing, ?Grace? raised her arm and pointed. "Carson City lies below from here."

Reno stared down the slope. It was still early morning; some street lamps remained illuminated. "I can see some lights! Can?t be more than a few miles!"

Rawhide returned and walked up to Tommyboy, "How?s the shoulder?" *

She looked up. Smiling the Hong Kong Cavalier replied, "Feels a little better?not so swollen as before??maybe the cold weather has some saving grace after all."

"That mean it?s well enough for ??"  *

"For smaking PT? You bet!??oh?? that and our Airplane awaiting us!" Reno  grinned at Perfect-Tommy, "Lets go!"
