As Rawhide and Perfect Tommy got into the Beast to get out of the chop house, the rest of the gang was getting into the bus.
Reno stepped onto the bus holding the cooler that held the heart.
Tommy Boy and Buckaroo came up behind them.
Stepping onto the deck. "Is everyone here?"
"Rawhide and Perfect Tommy are in the Beast and ready to hit the wall. Everyone on the outside is present in the bus." Big Norse reported.
Buckaroo turned to the Pinky. "Get us out of here. Head to the nearest interstate."
Pinky nodded and closed the door and started moving the bus forward.
"Big Norse, radio Jake Lo and have him follow us. Then Tell Rawhide to swing in front of us. I want to make sure we don't have a tail before he hand off the heart."
"Hand off the heart?" Tommy Boy asked.
"Once we are clear of this joker and get out of town, I want Reno, you, and I to get in the Beast with Rawhide and Perfect Tommy. We'll make better time in that then the bus. The bus can be used as a decoy if need be."
Tommy Boy nodded.
"I need you to pilot the plane that is already being readied in Carson City."
The bus made a curve a little fast, and everyone leaned over. The Beast came up beside them and moved ahead.
Buckaroo looked at his go phone and turned it on. "Rawhide."
"Hey boss, have fun out there?"
"Loads. Do you think they'll follow?"
"I don't think they'll be able to in about five seconds."
"Five seconds? What did you two do?"
"Who us? We didn't do anything .... yet." Rawhide commented.

On a drum where Rawhide and Perfect Tommy had been a small device was counting down. 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 a small explosion moved on to ignite the gasoline that was on the ground.
In the malay going around, one of the guards/workers see the first spark and screams "Fire!" and starts for an exit. Others see and start doing the same when the gasoline blows.
Pinky brings the bus around and heads up the ramp on to I-80 west. The Hummer staying in range of the bus. The snow having been cleared by the workers of the transportation department.
Big Norse who is monitoring the news and police scanners. There is a report of an explosion of massive damage at the docks. She smiles, "Score one for us." She turns her attention to the weather and road reports. The mountains are still not cleared. Buckaroo was right, the Hummer would be the best chance of getting to Carson City.
The others on the bus are settling down. Reno, Tommy Boy and Buckaroo going through what materials they need to add to the Hummer arsenal and asking Perfect Tommy what was still in the Hummer.
The bus in Sacramento takes the exit for US 50, this heading to Carson City.
The bus approaching an exit named "Scott Road" starts to slow down. The Hummer has stopped and before them there is a police barricade that has the traffic going off to into the near town.
Rawhide gets out and heads to the traffic officer that is setting up the pink smoke pots and orange and white gates.
"What's up?" Rawhide asks.
"To much snow, have to wait till the crews can get the road passible."
Buckaroo see them talking and dons his own coat and heads out to talk to them.
"Hello officer?" Buckaroo offers.
"Jenkins. Hey you're Buckaroo Banzai."
He flashes that smile of recogntion. "We are in need of getting a matching heart to the east coast. We have a plane on reserve in Carson city. We really need to get there."
"Sorry Dr. Banzai. The road is dangerous."
"But we have the state of the art all terrain vehicle. Surely you can get clearance for a Hummer with all the gadgets to go through." Buckaroo emphasized. "A little girl is waiting for us."
"Let me check with my CO."
Jenkins moves away and radios in to headquarters. After a brief discussion he comes back. "The hummer is cleared. Only request is to let us know once you made over the pass and onto safer ground. If anything happens we will not be held responsible."
Buckaroo smiled at him once more. "Thank you Jenkins."
Rawhide nodded and headed back to the hummer. Buckaroo went to the bus and told Reno and Tommy Boy to go to the Beast.
"Once you get the go ahead, unless you find another way to get the bus to Carson city, pick up the Beast. We'll keep in contact with you. Big Norse, keep monitoring the radios and weather. If something comes up, let Tommy Boy know in the Beast."
"Will do."
"Good luck." Pinky offered.
"We'll need that and more." He headed back out and walked to the Hummer.
Jenkins moved part of the barricade. Rawhide started up the Beast and moved forward.
The others watched as the hummer was swallowed in the darkness.
Someone spoke, "With God speed."
