Have a Heart
Chapter 11
By BBI Fiero

Buckaroo Banzai, Rawhide and Perfect Tommy stepped out of Jake-Lo's SUV. The leader of the Hong Kong Cavaliers studied the building. "I'm going to approach the entrance ahead. I want you guys to follow me but remain out of sight."

Rawhide eyed him, "Think it's wise to just walk in..." He was cut short.

"This is a city, people are coming and going all the time. For all they know,  I'm just another resident. Perfect-tommy, you come with me."

PT replied "What? Why me?"

"First reason: I'm going in as a prospective buyer, I need your expertise in  exotic automobiles. And second? Because you're perfect."  The Hong Kong Cavalier smirked in a defeated way.   The doctor continued. "Rawhide, take our guns, we better go in unarmed else they'll suspect us of being undercover police officers.

"I don't like this." answered the tall cowboy.

"We'll leave our go-phones on, abeit consealed. You'll hear what's going on."

"All right, it's your call. By the way, how will we know when you want us to enter th..."

"You'll know, Rawhide." Buckaroo Banzai quickly patted Perfect-Tommy  on the shoulder, "All right, lets go buy our car back." They both took  off down the sidewalk while Jake-lo and Rawhide watched from inside the  SUV.

Jake mumbled to the Hong Kong Cavalier "Brave man, hope he knows what  he's doing."

Rawhide was loading ammo into his gun, noticing the man's binoculars hanging around his neck. He replied "Not that anybody can see us in this snow, we better park this vehicle down a ways, and keep an eye on the entrance from a safe distance.

"Right!" Jake put the vehicle in reverse and starting backing up.

Buckaroo Banzai had versed the young cavalier on his plan by the time they reached the dented, rusty metal garage door. They could hear some activity inside. The doctor rapped on the metal surface about 3 times.

A sliding window opened up. A very small man, dressed in a cheap black suit  peered out, gruffy voice blurting "We're closed!" With that, he rudely  slid the window down.

Banzai waited a few seconds, then continued knocking.

The voice returned, "I said ,we're closed!"

"But I was told to come here in person."

"Oh, yeah? Well... I shot the sheriff..."

"But I didn't shoot the deputy." finished Banzai.

A few seconds went by, then the small man started opening the heavy garage door, straining a bit. There were 2 other men with shotguns by their sides. They poked the guns, intimidating fashion, as they searched the Hong Kong Cavaliers for weapons. Upon finding no guns or police badges, they retreated back a few steps.. Everyone watched as the small man locked the rusty door behind them. After he finished, he eyed the two cavaliers. "Who are you two?"

"My names Tim Jones, this is my mechanic, John levels."

PT tried to conceal a smirk, the password phrase was too easy. He had a feeling the not so bright man was a death dwarf.

The thug stared unimpressed and concentrated on Buckaroo. "So... you be needin' a vehicle, eh?"

"Yes, something rugged for my cattle ranch. No pink slip necessary."

"What kind of vehicle you looking for?"

"I was looking for a large jeep or something." With that, Banzai slowly flipped through a few hundred dollar bills. "I have more where this came from, but if you can't help me, I'll look elsewhere."

All 3 goons started moving their attention upon eyeing the green. "No, No! I'm quite sure OUR garage can fix you up! In fact, I think we just got sumthin that may do the trick." The death dwarf then whispered to one of the guards,"I'll show them the vehicle, then take their money when it's presented... GOT IT?"   The guard nodded with a gritty smile.   "You two, keep an eye on our customers, I'm going to see what we have in stock." The small man closed the office door leaving the two goons in charge.

Perfect-Tommy was second guessing what the dwarf was muttering.

Jake Lo and Rawhide were in the SUV listening. They were waiting for the results the Hummer sensors. A voice blurted over Rawhides Go-Phone. It was Tommy-Boy. "What do you have, Tommy-Boy?"

"From what I could gather from The Hummer and Banzais go-phone, there's 3 men in the office and 6 in the garage, and those sounded like teenagers. Probably  street gang members working for easy money."

Jake-Lo nodded in agreement.

"Any word from Banzai?"

"Not yet, T-B, we'll keep you informed, thanks for the info." With that he deactivated the go-phone. Turning to Jake Lo he mumbled, "Get ready for  anything!"
