"Evil Hand Rubbing Thing"

The extraordinarily evil Hanoi Xan rubbed his hands together in the same evil manner that hundreds of evil doers going back as far as any tale told had done.
If asked, Xan would of claimed that this had all started with him, this evil hand rubbing thing. That, through his centuries of his evil life, his evilness was that of legends, and that it was no wonder that the young and impressionable evil doers, on their way up in evil greatness, copied his many evil habit so as to be nearer to the ultimate evil himself: Hanoi Xan. Xan would pause then to laugh in a most evil way, before adding "They do say imitation is the best flattery."
Then he turns, shoots dead a henchman who just happened to have been rubbing his hands in an evil manner, and returns his attention to the questioner with the most evil of grins.
If asked his opinion of this ever so evil explanation, Dr Buckaroo Banzai would laugh; a light, free sound that brings a welcoming smile to all those who hear. "Personally," he would say, "I just think ol' Xan just likes to say `evil'... a lot."
