The decendents of Druids, this celtic clan seeks the purity of their species (they consider druids an entirely seperate species apart from humans) and to return to their "rightful" status as rullers of all Talmhainn (earth).
But they are in no rush. They have waited hundreds of years, and are willing to wait hundreds more. The Clan members are content to manipulate and influence world events to their favor (such as edducating the nazis in the proper extermination of the "lesser species") and collecting sciences for future uses.
Tenders of the original sciences, they see all modern sciences as their own personal property. They gather it, stock piling it for the time which they can use it to take back Talmhainn.
No one knows who exactly Athair is or how he knows all that he does. He communicated to his "children" through varies modes, from car radios to telivision broadcasting to personal computers, anything that communicates.
Though the henchmen of the Clan are simple hired guns (all of Celtic descent so as to limit the possible contamination of the Druids' "purity"), an intense fear makes them absolutely loyal. The clan members, refered to as Lords and Ladies, will gladly die for the approval of the Athair of the Clan. They will not hesitate to kill on his command, or even inclination, or to fall upon their own ceremonyal daggers if he deems it right and good for the Clan.
The playboy elder of the Lords of Clan Uilc Dochas. He commands the clan in Athair's name, when he isn't spending money or chasing women (and young men "pretty-boys"). Unlike the ideal clan member, Uilc Duine is a coward in all ways, opting to watch crulity, rather that participating (for the exception of rape). He denies himself nothing, showing no sign of desciplin. He constently make a spectical of himself, quite contrary to the secretive ways of the Clan which has allowed the Clan to survive so long. he is not the ideal second to Athair, but he is an ideal distraction for those who would hunt the clan.
The beautiful, elegent, and deadly Lady of the Clan, she serves as the true second to Athair. Even as she imitates Lord Uilc Duine's Lt., she recieves her orders directly from Athair (it is rumored that she is Athair's true daughter and heir). She is the perfect example of what every Clan member strives to be: couragouse, spartan, commanding, self-rightous, loyal, aloof, brillant, and absolutely deadly.
Though she prefers to leave no trace of her comings and goings (including bodies) she has no moral "hang-ups" on killing, seeing the death of humans as less than that of a dog ("a dog doesn't contaminate the blood line"). She kills without a second thought, taking great enjoyment in the suffering of others. Her prefered weapon is an 8" long silver hair pin and a tiny viel of acid she wares around her neck. She dips the tip of the pin in the acid and allows it to drip on her victem, or she slowly drills the pin through fleash, muscel, and bone. Well versed in the human body, so as to drag out the agony for days, weeks, months, even years. For a quick silent kill, she sinks the ipn up under the chin or at the base of the skull and up into the brain.
The son of the Lady Oran de Nathair and her one time captive )and murder victem) Captain Criss James (adoptive father to Jessica James). Though only a small child, he is a dedicated student of his mother's tutorage, eagerly watching, even participating, as his mother tortures and kills.
Aware of his sire's demise at the hands of his own mother, Mac de Nathair is not knowlageble of Jessica James' connection to him. He only knows that she hunts them a single mindedness that can only be vengence.
