Paramotoring or powered paragliding started approximately 15 years ago with the pioneers using inefficient 2 stroke motors which were noisy, smelly, and underpowered.  In latter years the machines have become much more reliable, efficient and powerful giving flights to 10,000 feet + and covering over a hundred miles on a small tank of fuel.  This has caused the sport to grow immeasurably all over the globe.  No other form of aviation has ever been so accessible with the average motor so small it can be disassembled and fitted into the back of a family car.  So whether you’d prefer to float over the countryside at a leisurely pace taking photo’s or cover long distances at speed, the opportunity is here.
