We drove to Cedarburg for wine and to show her around the Cedar Creek Settlement. We had to rush since we were making dinner for my parents later that day. Visited every shop though, and found a few nice things that we didn't buy. A few things we did. A great candle, a couple of nick nacks for the kids. And 5 bottles of wine. A nice trip, I thought.
Back in Milwaukee, K still wasn't feeling well, so I called the rents and cancelled for today. Maybe tomorrow before she leaves or something. I still wanted to take her there, but not if she was feeling ill. Took a two hour nap.
We wandered up to China King and got our favorite, General Tso's chicken. Then back to watch Mariah Carey's movie, Glitter.
Cute, just saved this over Friday's entry. Don't want to write that one again. Grrr.
Anyway, watched Glitter and found it to be not a very good movie. Lol. It wasn't the worst thing I have ever sat through, but it wasn't all that good. We stayed up for another hour or so, and then to bed. Another weekend a bit too short.
Today was a good day, I thought. The trip to Cedarburg was great for me. K wasn't feeling well and seemed distracted part of the time, and part of the time she seemed to be loving it. Love sharing these little bits of my life with her.
