This journal entry is dedicated to Karla Sullivan's birthday.  Happy Birthday, baby!  (I know, it's dated the 7th, but getting written the 8th when her birthday is, so . . . .)

And with that, we will move on to something else, lol.

Today.  I went to Summerfest for the final time this year.  I went with Brian and Lori, and their little girl, Chloe.  We didn't stay long, but it was fun.  I don't know why, but whenever I go places with these people it makes me wish that my life were more domestic.  Given time though, I have a feeling that things will work out very well for me.  (Good things come to those who wait?)

So, we get to Summerfest, and buy a beer.  Then go to Heaven City.  There Brian gets boiled crawfish, and I get popcorn crawfish.  We eat all of that pretty quickly, then go back for a crawfish sandwich.  The sandwich could have been better, but everything else was great!!  A few more beers, a little swing music (was I moving?  wishing a certain person was there to try to dance with me?  I think so . . .).

We walked over and saw Bellevue Suite, members of which sponsor the Open Jam that I have previously spoken of as Mutant Jam, and Drama Club.  We only caught the last three songs or so, but it was decent.  Not much of a crowd though.  I think the Lazer stage is situated in a difficult manner to draw anyone.  It's too bad.  And I found out that friends of the site, doublelife, were offered a show at Summerfest, but a member of said band turned it down.  Not Cool!!!

I wish I played guitar, or drums or anything.  Then, I could join the band.  That would be fun.  I think.

Another hot day at Summerfest, and today I wore a sleeveless shirt.  Not many people think that's a big deal, but I usually don't wear that type of shirt due to certain tattoos I have.  So now, I have sunburned arms.  Actually my face got some sun too.  Must have been a midday thing or something.  Considering all the other times I have been to Summerfest, and not gotten sunburned this year.

Anyway, Summerfest is over.  Bring on the next festival!  And bring on more and different people to go to them . . .
