First off, I went to Target and found a great deal on votive candles and candle holders. So, now I have somewhere around 30 candles in my bedroom making it smell really, really nice. All berry-vanilla-like. Yum.
Then, I walked over to Humboldt park for the parade. Saw Ken in it. Funny how he gets to be in parades like that. I don't really get it, but I suppose that's part of his biz.
Home again for awhile. Cleaned the house, talked online with a friend for awhile. Watched part of a movie, then went down to Summerfest.
I spent $14. Between 5 and 12. Not too shabby a bill for that place. During that time, I hung out by the 102.1 juke box, had a few beers at Water Street Brewery, then went to the Amphitheatre for the Nickelback concert. They didn't have our backstage passes, so we just went up to the grass seats and listened to Epidemic, and then left. They were pretty cool, though not particularly unique. Even though the singer said that they were. Funny.
Back for another beer, a little time back at the Juke box, and then over the Our Lady Peace show. They did have out backstage passes. Pretty nice getting to stand at the side of the stage and see the show. Plus the beer and soda became free, and the show was pretty damn good too. We stayed for that whole show as Ken was announcing and wanted pics at the end.
Then we were done. And here's where people annoy me. Why fuck around at Summerfest on the 4th? Especially with all the terrorist crap? We had firecrackers going off all over the grounds, cops running in every direction, security getting everyone out of the place. On the way home a huge section of downtown was cordoned off, in what I can only guess was some sort of bomb threat. Why are people so stupid??
In better news, The Brewers have now won 3 out of their last 4 road games. What could be happening??

P.S.: More Summerfest pics added, nothing special though, camera nearly confiscated twice by security. Hopefully, I will have better luck Saturday and Sunday.
