previous day's entry next day's entry
July 29, 2002
Here it is Monday.  What has changed since Sunday?  Hmmm, well now I will have a computer at work through the 6th.  Or until the 6th.  So, I can still email from work after this coming weekend for a day or so.  This may or may not be a good thing.  Puts me in mind of a month ago.  My birthday.  Wow.  It's been a month since then.  That was a great day, and the next was pretty good too.  The day after that though?  Ugh.

It's been a whole month.  Hmm, it's only been a month.  Looking at it that way, well it makes me think a bit too much suddenly.  Think that people are fickle and minds easily change.  Whole directions become different, and new roads become travelled.  Lets not travel this one right now.

So, what did I do today?  I put a thousand x-ray films into tiny plastic envelopes.  I packaged Paula's computer for shipping.  I talked a lot with one K, a little with another, and not enough with Amy.  And for the first time, I got home too late to continue that last conversation.  Being busy has its low points, as well as it highs.  I wrote a story for a friend.  A very fun story actually, and I hope she enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I watched "She's All That" and noticed that Freddie Prinze and Matthew Lillard like to be in movies together.  Not only were they in this one, but in recent fav, "Summer Catch".  Enjoyable fluff movies both, but enjoyable all the same.  Read a bit, and went to sleep around 10.  Tomorrow I have to work again, and the rest of the x-ray film must be bagged.  I am half finished, so there is still plenty to go.  Then I should pack Wendy's computers and bring them downstairs.  I also have a meeting with the History Department about their website.

Just realized, if I talk about tomorrow today, what will I talk about tomorrow?  Ach, who cares??

Suffered bad news first thing in the morning too.  I had thought for a day that I might be getting a new kitten to supplant Sunshine when he leaves.  Found out that I won't be getting her.  Probably just as well, Pixel will be back to queen of the house, without having to deal with any pretenders to the throne.  The way she likes it, I think.
