Listening to the Beth Orton, Chemical Brothers song from Vanilla Sky this morning. Very ethereal. A song with some meaning for me at times, as I feel like I am drifting. But, things are pretty good. A pair of friends helped me make a good decision and this weekend I will act on that decision. Next week I ask for a large raise at work or move on. The time has come for a couple of small changes like that. In the next few months I will be finding a larger place as well. This place has been comfortable, but the landlord has pretty much disappeared on me, and too many things are going wrong with the place. There is a two bedroom two blocks north on the same street that I went and looked at the other day that is pretty nice and a possibility. Then again, I hate moving, so we'll have to see what happens.
Tonight, Fear Factor at Have a Nice Day Cafe. Have to get there at 8 or so. It will be interesting to see what sort of things they want people to do. From watching the shows I could do most of the stuff except for eating testicles and that food crap. Everything else I can deal with. Just put the fear aside. But, when it comes to taste? Ugh.
On the 16th of the month, look for changes to the website. Mostly just more pictures being back up, and added, and a couple of design changes. The site will be doubled in size, so the amount of stuff on it will increase rather drastically. I also hope to begin offering downloads of some music that I like. So, you can listen to it along with me. That will be for the weekend after the 16th though, as it will take more time.
Today is the last day I have to dress nicely for work. After this I am expected to wear jeans. I don't want to wear jeans every day!! lol
