| Thanks to everyone who didn't wake me up from my nap tonight! Slept right through Barkini! Felt good, and bad at the same time. Apparently though, one friend is used to it, considering he didn't even call. I should have told someone to call me so I'd wake up. Oh, well. That's life. There is always next week and the finals. There's something to look forward to. Perhaps we can see bikini's on a par with the ones at Have a Nice Day Cafe back in May. That would be a beautiful thing. I heard from a friend today that this journal is like crack. Addictive. I do know that there are a couple people that read it every single day like that, but most come and go. And come and go. Kind of like a rude date. So, today was a pretty good day. Spent the morning talking about nonsense with Karla, which was kind of nice. Still not really certain what is going on with that, or what I want to go on with that, but it was a nice morning. I certainly haven't stopped enjoying our conversations. The afternoon I spent training Deidre a little, and talking to Krista and Amy a lot. And Melissa. Hmm, a trend there. Probably a little unusual for a grown man to spend so much time emailing, but then I am not really all that normal. I mean that in a good way! And all of this will end soon anyway. Another week of work, or so, and then I lose my computer there, at least for a couple of weeks. So. Anyone that has gotten used to hearing from me during the day, may miss that for a bit, but hey, they'll get used to it, right? TODAY!!! Packers Training Camp begins!! If only a single email friend knew or cared about football. That would be nice, someone to talk about it with. I know a few of them like to watch, but knowing the players and their individual impacts, and what is going on with the team, that is a realm that most women don't get into. And some, not to mention any names, even prefer other teams! Who knows why! So, for the next 6 months or so, we get to read daily Packers reports in the news, see clips on television, and soon, very soon, watch games again. It looks like I will be attending 2 this year. A preseason game, and hopefully, one toward the middle of the season. That will be awesome. Especially now that our nation's greatest beer has become the official Lambeau beer. Yes, it's true. Miller! In sad news, Tyler Houston was traded by the Brewers. One of my favorite players. That sucks. Chris |
