previous day's entry next day's entry
July 21, 2002
It's Sunday still.  And now I am actually writing Sunday's entry.  Go figure.  Something odd is happening though.  I checked the stats page and a number of viewings have already been made of this date and the one before.  I know that my favorite reader used to read this daily, but I believe she has left, and will not be returning to these pages.  That makes me sad.  I have to wonder though.  Who is reading now!!  And why don't you sign the Guestbook!!  Lol.

What did I do today?  I woke up and made the omelet I had bought the fixin's for the other day.  Thought about running down to Festa for a couple of hours, but decided to put it off a bit.  Went with a friend and her children to the park for a couple of hours and swung on the swings, and played in the wading pool, until the Lifeguard kicked me out.  Back home, the kids dried off, and they all went home, and I grabbed the bus down to Festa, and met up with Megan at the Midgate.  Stayed for about 3 hours, got a little sunburned and a lot full on excellent food.  MMMMM.  I love Festa Italiana!!  The sun and the heat took their toll though, and we both went home, to our separate homes.

Back here, I wrote the Saturday entry and then vegged in front of the television for awhile and enjoyed the cooler air of the house.  Had a bit of Pinot Grigio left over from dinner the other night.  Now I feel like sleeping, but it is still early.

Brian called, wanted me to come over for beers.  I said no, thinking that I needed to go to bed for work tomorrow.  I wish now I'd said yes.  Could have been fun.  Hopefully one day this week we will be able to do it instead.  Just hang out and have a couple of cold ones with a good friend.  Yeah, that sounds very good.

Tuesday is just a day away now, and I look forward to that.  I also look forward to Krista being back at work tomorrow and being able to talk to her again.  It's been a little tough with her on vacation, keeping in touch I mean.  And I get to talk to Amy again.  And play some pool.  Hope she hasn't been practicing.  I'd hate to start losing.

Oh, yeah.  I also have to work.  Lol.  Train Deidre to do Paula's job.  How fun will that be?  Not at all.

Until tomorrow night!!

Chris

P.S.:  Sign the guestbook, mystery reader!!!

P.P.S.:  I just realized Megan isn't pictured on the site anymore, so here she is, below.
