Here we go again.  Another day, at least partially, in the books.  It is only afternoon, but I am already exhausted.  One unusual visitor, and one completely unexpected visitor last night, and then the rest of the night staying up playing Final Fantasy with Nathan, before he passed out around 11 this morning.

This morning we walked to Sears Hardware to fix the toilet, then to Target for stuff, and things.  Home for more video games, then off to Home Depot, Menard's and a different Sears Hardware searching for the proper outdoor faucet so that I don't have to deal with the neighbors disconnecting my washer any more.  And it worked!  They washed their cars and used the new line I put in.  Should have been a handyman or something, I suppose.

Also, went to Pet World, the greatest pet store in Milwaukee.  They have everything except for cats and dogs.  Flopeared rabbits, fish, lizards . . . in fact, I found a Basilisk that I think I might get if I can figure out a place to put him.  He was very cool.  And responsive.  And considering my tattoos, it seems as though I should have a lizard around somewhere.  Though, maybe a bearded dragon might make more sense.  Well, it will be awhile before I move and that is probably something that will happen after I move.

Moving?  Yes.  I have to find a place with a garage by December.  Hopefully one a bit bigger than this too.  Since it looks as though my long-thought-defunct contract with the History department at Marquette might actually be renewed, I am suddenly looking at better financial times.  Like I said yesterday, sometimes things just fall together.

I think I might take a nap now, before going over to Brians for the fireworks.  Nathan looks like he will still be asleep for quite awhile.  He wiped himself out staying up all night last night.

That's it for now.  It is 3:00 p.m. on a beautiful Saturday in a beautiful city, and life is great.
