| Monday, Monday. Worked from 8 until 5:15 with no lunch. But plenty of overtime. I am doing it twice this week and once next week. Got to keep working on my apartment fund. And my car fund. And then I have to decide where to move. I keep thinking Milwaukee, but then my weekends are in Menominee, so maybe I should move closer to there? It's still awhile away though, so who knows. Other news on that front, the parents are thinking of buying me a car so they can have their truck back. A car nicer than their truck actually. Little white four door. Can't look a gift horse in the mouth, and it appears to be something that would get even better gas mileage than what I am driving now. That and it has a full size back seat so that when going out, like this weekend, I could transport more than one other adult with me without any problems. And it's white so it'll match. At the house, I did some online bowling, what fun. I keep getting this close to a perfect game and missing by just the smallest margin. Very frustrating. Watched the Brewers game. They went up by 6 in the second and held on through the end. 3rd win in 4 games. Hope its a continuing trend since I am going to a game on Friday. Other than that and a drive to McDonalds to pick up Art, the day wasn't terribly exciting. So, I will entertain you with some bad poetry instead. A mote of dust floats lazily in the beam of sunlight crossing the room beside the sleeping cat. The warmth of the room, the sight of the cat, the dust in the air, the beauty of the light, makes this place my home. Memories of all that life brings to us, should challenge us changing us making us better than ever we were. C |
