next day's entry
previous day's entry May 6, 2003
Tuesday should be called LONGday from now on.  I can't believe how long I had to sit at work.  I worked a little on a resume and cover letter for what appears to be a much better job, played Solitaire and Bookworm, talked to Karla and Amy.  Amy a little, Karla a lot.  Then Karla got to go watch TV.  How I wish I had a TV here at work.  But I settled for unspicy sesame chicken.  And fried rice.

My Mother asked me who I'd take on Family Feud with me if I went.  I said, me.  I don't know who else.  I've sat with her while she's watched the show and she doesn't typically have the right answers, or know the right questions for that matter.  But I still love her.  Of course.

Didn't do too much else.  Watched the downloaded Two Towers, which turned out to be an excellent copy of American Pie.  I watched it anyway.  Watched the Brewers lose again on the other screen.  I wish they'd start winning some of these close games.  There really doesn't seem to be any reason why they don't.  They get close, and then.  Blech.

Speaking of sex . . .

Whatever happened to the vampire type story that I'd started here last month?  I really need to get back to that soon.  It wasn't far from being finished, and with the new site coming soon, I could post it in it entirety on there, along with a few other stories I wrote in the past.  And you could view them all for the low, low price of $9.95.  I'm kidding about that.  I think all print materials should be free.  I understand the costs involved in making them, but just imagine what joy there'd be among the poor, if books were free.  And they could read, and

Nevermind.

I started training a new employee at work.  First off, she's a moron, second, she talks too much and I can't find a single thing I like about her.  Very difficult.  She's been calling me Captain and Teacher and crap like that since she was told I will be training her.  I wonder if I could arrange a small accident for her.  Probably not a good idea, right?

Anyway, that's all I have to say for now.  I have to get back to my plots and schemes.

See ya!

Chris

P.S.:  The Brewers actually won the game 9-6.  Psych!
