Back in the room, naptime. Lol. Take advantage of the spacious bed. Out like a light until after 11. Showered, packed, and went to the mall. Discovered that I have a co-conspirator in my book collection plans. Or at least a partner who doesn't mind the idea at all. We wander the new Borders for awhile, then through the rest of the mall. Where most of the stores seem to have disappeared. Sucks to be Grand Avenue. I thought we'd go to Saz's for lunch (second time I've tried to take Karla there), but it has been turned into a bathroom. ARGGGHHH!!
Ate at Panda Express instead. Good Chinese food fast. Orange Chicken and Chicken with Mushrooms are my suggestions. Oh, and not dumping your girlfriends soda in her lap. Definitely a bad idea. You can only save yourself by catching the soda before it all ends up in her lap. Whew . . .
Her fortune? "The love of your life will appear before you." We were sitting across from eachother when she opened it. How funny is that??
Finished up at the Mall and ran out to Circuit City to use a $10 off any $20 purchase. Bought two $9.99 video games and a pack of gum. Cost $11, and we have two gifts for Nathan. Went to the house. Visited with the parents for awhile, then decided against going out that night, and thought we'd make dinner instead. Unfortunately, it was potluck night, and the kitchen was in use. So we went for fried food. Chicken, Shrimp, Mushrooms and French Fries. I ate most of it.
Oh, used a gift card for Blockbuster to get a DVD for Nathan too. So, he has three gifts for very little money so far. This will really increase the number of items he gets, and he is getting some pretty cool stuff too. A bunch of happy kids come Christmas time. I am really looking forward to it.
Played Monopoly. Won. Big Deal. Wasn't as much fun as it should have been. Got slow on us. Oh well.
Saturday ended in pitch blackness.
