Illness all better, new posting delayed by slumber party.  I will write it from work . . .

So, Wednesday was ok.  Though K was working her second double in a row and I was a little lonely.  Lol.

A long day at work, then to the bus, then home.  Well, almost home.  Got picked up by the parents and taken out to dinner at this seriously sub-par restaurant, Kalypso.  The waitress was an idiot with a pierced tongue and a huge lisp who got everything wrong and nearly fell in my lap pouring coffee.  My Chicken Sandwich was good though.  Reason for going out to dinner?  Mom couldn't stand eating at home another night.  Kind of a cool benefit of living there, though Denny's might be better next time.
Got home, and waited.   Nathan was supposed to come over.  Waited, waited, waited . . . .

He finally arrived around 10.  Too late.  We dug around and found his football cards because he wanted to show me a game that he had created.  Kind of a fun game actually.  We played three times, then I needed to go to bed.

Speaking of bed.  There are two pull out loveseats and a pull out couch, a queen size bed and a twin bed all available for guests.  Where does Nathan want to sleep?  On the floor beside me.  Cool, actually.

Just when it was time for bed, Karla got home from work.  I talked to her for a minute or two, then Nathan took over the computer.  Now, that was funny.  He was calling her names and she was threatening to tickle him until he peed his pants.  He wasn't threatened by that, but once she threatened to kiss him . . . .  Suddenly she is an angel, and then the queen of heaven.  Guess he doesn't know about her kisses.  Lol.

It is very exciting integrating our families.  Very cool.  I have had a lot of opportunities to spend time with Shaun and Megan, and now Karla will have the same chance with Nathan.  Then we get to all spend Thanksgiving together and maybe a week around Christmas.  Kind of building a family the Brady Bunch way.

Well, back to work I must go . . . .
