Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!

Never a good day.  Well, not true.  Never a good day when I go home on it.  A few times I stayed until Monday.  And there was that one Sunday where K and the kids came here until Tuesday.  Had a lot of fun.

This Sunday was a little rough, trouble sleeping, etc.  We watched Good Will Hunting in the morning and then went to Applebee's for lunch and to start watching the game.  I had the Cowboy burger, which is pretty good, aside from a couple too many onions.  We watched the first quarter and a little of the second there, then went looking for a cell phone battery and back to the house to catch some more of the game.  Hell of a second quarter.  The Packers just picked them apart.  Very cool. Fun game to watch. Terry Glenn was robbed his touchdown by a moronic official, but he may get it back once the league has a chance to look over the tapes.  He certainly got his congratulations from Favre.  You could tell they were having fun out there.

Detroit might not have been though.  Darn.

So, a win on Sunday against the 2-7 Vikings will give the Packers the division.  Not bad thing to have happen before Thanksgiving.  In fact, the Packers guide their own destiny the rest of the way.  All they have to do is win all of their games and they will have home field advantage throughout.  Which is an almost certain sign that they will make the Superbowl, considering that they have never lost a playoff game at Lambeau.  And who is coming up there to beat them?  New Orleans?  I don't think a dome team would do too well on the "frozen tundra".

Playoffs should be fun.

But let's temper that a little.  The Packers could still lose the rest of their games (right) and finish 8-8.  Keep your fingers crossed.

Rode home on the bus with a small woman, who started to cry about halfway to Milwaukee.  I didn't know what to, if anything, to do, as I hadn't really talked to her before then.  So, I just sat.  Waited.

Home for Spaghetti and a fun phone call with Shaun and Megan.  And a little renewal of my faith in my ex-wife.  The title for the Volkswagen that she took years ago finally returned to me.  Nice.
