This indie film is being shot entirely in DV on location in Westchester County, New York. The film features some of the best young talent in the business. Actors Joe Abbate, Al Linea and Antonio Tomahawk star in a Mafia movie for the ages. A small fortune is missing and Nicky Cartucci Jr. (Tomahawk), who is taking charge of "the family" wants answers. Who has the money? Who wants to stab Nicky in the back? The list is a mile long. His own people want him out of the way. Johnny Roma (Abbate) and Jimmy Bones (Brad Wagman) are the guys who do his "dirty" work, they are sick and tired of the way Nicky treats them. His bodyguard Scags (Joe Rosario) is plotting against him. Nicky's wife Maria (Christine Savino) is fed up with his cheating and lies. There is also Joey (Linea) who is a down on his luck and out of work husband of one of the strippers, Roxy (Kate Gleason)who works for Nicky at the strip club he owns. Nicky hates his guts for being a loser who lives off Roxy, whom Nicky also happens to be having an affair with. Not since the shooting of J.R. Ewing has there been so many suspects for a crime. The twists and turns will keep you guessing till the very end. Who will make off with the money? Who will live to spend it? The screenplay was written by Chris Vaccarelli.Shooting will begin in March 2002. The film will also feature an intense soundtrack put together by Bobby Devlin of the Eddie Campbell Band. It will feature all original material by Devlins many bands including Eddie Campbell Band, Desafio and Sinfonia. All photography will be done by Ray Karaman. |
