| I watched the Presidential debate on TV last night, George Bush and Al Gore, What a sight! Bush with his beady eyes and smarmy smile, He tries to come across with a down-home, folksy style, Then there was VP Al Gore, Too much make-up, he looked like a painted whore, One newsman called it narcolepsy inducing, I think it was more like nausea producing, I heard empty promises and worthless rhetoric, Politicians care only for themselves; it makes me sick. I'll vote for the lesser or two evils election day, November, But there's one thing we must all remember, Politicians tell us what they think we want them to say, Then turn around and do what they want to do anyway. |
