Free Crochet Patterns
FRIDGIES
all can be made with worsted weight yarn, and size H hook
DMC size 5 and size 0 hook, or size 10 thread and size 7 hook
small amounts of yarn, self-adhesive magnets are needed
other materials with patterns
Snowman Fridgie other materials needed.......2 little wiggly eyes and 1 blk 4mm bead, or blk embroidery floss and needle,
RND 1:   With white, chain 4, join with a slip stitch to form ring. Chain 2, (does NOT count as beg. dc)  work 12 dc in ring.  join with a slip stitch to 1st dc.

Rnd 2:   Ch 2, work 2 dc in each dc around.  Join as before.

Rnd 3:   ch 1, sc in same stitch as joining and in each dc around.  Fasten off white

With desired color for scarf, join with a slip stitch in any dc....wrong side facing you.
Chain 2, work 2 dc in same stitch and next stitch.  Chain 9, turn. Hdc in 3rd chain from hook and each ch across .    Chain 7, hdc in 3rd chain and each chain across.  sc in each
dc.  Fasten off.  Adhere magnet to back, glue on wiggle eyes (or embroider)  and black bead or white pom pom for nose.
Cauliflower Fridgie other materials needed........8   1/2" white pompoms
Rnd 1:   With green, ch 4, join with slip stitch to form ring.  Ch 2, work 12 dc in ring . Join with slip stitch in Front Loop Only  (FLO) to 1 dc, NOT beg. chain.  
Rnd 2:   Working this round in FLO, ch 1, sc in same stitch as joining.  In next dc, work 5 hdc, *sc in next stitch.  Work 5 hdc in next stitch.  Repeat from * around.   Join with a ss to Back Loop Only (BLO)
Rnd 3:  Working this round in BLO, of dc from round 1, ch 2, work 5 dc in 1st st, and work 1 sc in next.((groups of 5 dc, are worked in the blo of the same dc that has a sc in the FLO).   * Work group of 5 dc, in next, and sc in next.  Repeat from * around.  Join with a slip stitch to 1st dc.    Fasten off.
Attach magnet backing, and glue several white pompoms im the center to form rest of cauliflower.
Rosebud Fridgie  other materials needed........8" length of 1/2" wide satin ribbon
optional 6" length of floral wire
Row 1:   With pink (or desired color) chain 31.  In 3rd chain from hook work (dc, 2trc, ch 2, ss in trc just made, trc, dc, hdc), skip 1 ch, sc, in next chain, skip 1 ch and in the next work chain work (hdc, 2dc, trc, ch 2, ss in trc just made, 2dc, hdc)), skip 1 ch, sc in next ch, skip 1 ch, and in next chain work  ( 2hdc, 2 dc, ch 2, ss in dc just made, dc, 2 hdc).  Skip 1 chain, sc in next chain, skip 1 ch and in next chain work ( sc, 2 hdc, dc, ch 2, ss in dc just made, 2 hdc, sc).  Skip 1 ch, sc in next chain, skip next chain, and in next chain work ( 2sc, 2 hdc, ch 2, ss in last hdc made, hdc, 2 sc).  Skip 1 chain, sc in next chain, skip 1 chain and in next chain work (3sc, hdc, ch 2, ss in hdc just made, 3 sc).
Skip 1 chain, sc in next, skip 1 chain and in the next ch work (sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc).  Skip 1 ch,  sc in next ch, skip 1 chain and in the last chain work ( 7dc).DO NOT TURN.

Row 2:  Chain 1, now working on opposite side of beginning chain as Row 1, dc in 1st chain.  *Ch 1, work dc in opposite side of sc, ch 1 work dc on opposite side of petal of Row 1.  Repeat from * across.  Fasten off..  weave in any ends.

Lay piece right side down on table, and beginning with right side, loosely roll flower, being sure to keep inner roll secure....weave about an 8: length of 1/2" wide green ribbon through all layers of roll several times, leaving a tail at each end for tying.  Tighten ribbon, and tie You may with to to add a touch of glue to secure petals once desired shape has been achieved.in a bow....shape petals as desired and attach magnet
Country Flowers Fridgie other materials.....1 button, 4"length of green chenille stem, scrap of green print calico
Rnd 1:   With desired color, chain 4.  Join with a slip stitch to form ring.  Chain 2, work 8 dc in ring.  Join with a slip stitch to 1st dc (NOT beg. chain)

Rnd 2:   Chain 1, sc in same stitch, *chain 3, skip 1 dc, sc in next dc.  Repeat from * around..  Join with a slip stitch to 1st sc.

Rnd 3:   Slip stitch in 1st chain 3 loop, chain 1, work sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc) in same loop, and each loop around.  Join with a ss to 1st sc.  Fasten off.

Glue button to front center of flower.  attach stem at bottom of flower, and tie scrap of fabric around stem.  Adhere magnet to back of flower.
