| NOTE: The following contains some details about her fanfic. Yvette is a bourgeois girl who arrived in Paris with her family at the age of 20. She is small, blonde and blue-eyed, but her appearance is not very important to her. She is very brave, just and free of prejudice, so she very soon befriends Esmeralda and Clopin. Yvette is attracted to Quasi because she is deeply touched by the story Clopin tells her about the bellringer�s life, because she admires his strength and bravery, and also because he doesn�t have anyone to love. She realises she is in love with Quasi when hearing him sing "Heaven�s Light". Her parents object to her wishes to marry Quasi because he is poor and � in their opinion � ugly, and the lovers need to elope in the Court of Miracles. Yvette and Quasimodo�s relationship is very tender and passionate. Yvette does her best to help "little Quasi" to forget the depressing memories of his upbringing, but sometimes, she teases him by joking about Frollo. She is very idealistic � she knows what she thinks is right and is ready to fight for it, especially for the happiness of her beloved. Yvette is different from Madellaine, for she is never startled by Quasi�s appearance. On the contrary, she always defends Quasi against mockers � maybe she is even overprotective. Nor would Yvette ever let a stupid, vain guardian manipulate her. During their marriage, Yvette and Quasimodo are going to have some children. |
