| Jenny's HoND Memoir Special HoND memory? Never saw HoND in a theatre. I was one of those who would replay the preview on "Pocahontas" and other movies and merely drempt of seeing it. I managed to get the video the day before it's offical release from the local convenience store owner. He knew my birthday was in about a week & for some reason thought I would like it. I watched it alone late at night so I could get "into" the movie I had anticipated seeing for so long. I didn't want my family to ruin the experience with stupid questions and such. I watched it whenever I was alone in the house, plastered my walls with hand-done Quasimodo, Esmeralda and Djali paintings, pastels and sketches. All my highschool notebooks had Quasi in them and HoND was the subject of many of my highschool paintings (especially the recluse, the scene from the pillory etc...) I accumulated a sizeable amount of merchandise for someone my age and money at the time. It was pure magic the first time and still is years later. Back to Birthday Memoirs Back to Index |
