Frollo: It was a sign from the devil that I was to be joining him if I didn't get rid of that gypsy witch. Where did the fire go at the end of the song? Frollo: How should I know? I was passed out, overcome by my unholy desires! How'd you survive plunging into a fiery pit? Frollo: Probably a work of witchcraft from my unholy fans who couldn't stand to see me die. Why did you say to Esmerelda and Quasi that 'He shall smite the wicked and plunge them into the fiery pit'? Frollo: To inform them of their fate.
