Williams' Creekside Big Henry was born on September 7, 2002. He is six months old in the pictures. I drove to Arvonia, Va. to breed Ginger to Mike Davis' Elmo dog. I am very glad I did, as Mike Davis is as knowledgable a Redbone breeder as their is in this country today. The Elmo dog is a proven reproducer. As for Elmo, you can see that the Great Alabama Raider is heavy on his top side; as Comanche Raider Jr. is a direct son of Alabama Raider and also a grandson of Alabama Raider through his mother. Alabama Raider is a son off of Hunter's Famous Amos and is Woodpecker and Blakesley bred on the bottom. Elmo's mother Cricket has Timber Chopper and Blakesley breeding in her background. I feel most credit to this line of dogs can be traced to Mr. Glen Bosley's breeding. I had the priveledge of meeting with Mr. Bosley in his home and asked him the following question: What is one of the number one traits you look for in a young dog?? Mr. Bosley's answer: "Son, I want a dog to fire in there and get treed right quick. I was never too concerned about other things....they need to get in there and get treed." After I saw Elmo go, I understood what Mike Davis and Glen Bosley had been breeding for decades............TREE DOGS. Big Henry's mother and her bloodlines can be seen on Ginger's page.
