On the Rapture...

The Bible gives us 7 major prophecies that must happen before the Rapture of the Church and the ushering in of the Tribulation ...they have already happened.

1. Isaiah 66:8 - a nation will be born in a day - Israel was that nation, and this happened on May 15th, 1948.
2. Jerusalem will no longer be under gentile control - at the end of the 6-day war of 1967, This came to pass.
3. Satellite Television - In Revelation, 2 prophets, Enich and Elijah will be decapitated and the whole world will see it happen within one hour. This was not possible 20 years ago.
4. Signs of the Heavens - This means bizarre weather patterns...El Nino, La Nina, etc...very bizarre all meteorologists agree, and more are coming.
5. Earthquakes in diverse places - a few years ago, the US government found the least likely place for there to be an earthquake is in Colorado. they dug under a mountain and put an expensive intelligence center there - they didn't so much as get the door closed when an earthquake wiped the center completely out.
6. Pestilence - what is this? a disease that can't be cured. The top medical minds in the field say that we will never have a cure for AIDS. Never. There are many more diseases recently popping up that could also fulfill this prophecy...
7. Daniel 12:4 says "But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there it increase knowledge." this is saying that in the end times, many people will run around increasing knowledge. In 1993, the information Superhighway brought this prophecy to life.

The fact is, Jesus could take us back today, and all of the prophecies have already been fulfilled.

On Giving your life to Jesus...

ROMANS 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer you bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Let's take these 2 verses and break them down... What does God mean by offering our bodies as living sacrifices? Simple. He wants us to give up our desires and let us allow Him to do his will in our life. The next part says this; Do not get trapped in the repeating circle of sin that the world has to offer, rather, set your mind on the Word of God, which will transform you and mold you to what God want's you to be. Once you set your eyes on God, and read his Word, you will be able to discern between what is his will and what isn't.
These two verses will keep every Christian challenged for the rest of their life on earth. Now, I challenge you, take up your Cross, and spend time in the Bible.

On having strong Faith...

Do you struggle with you Faith? Many Christians do. Jesus said in Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." He also gives us two parables that stress the importance of persistence. Persistence is a must if you want stronger faith. It is true, knock and the door will be opened, but how many times do you knock on a friend's door and within a second, he or she opens the door for you. God's delays are not God's denials. He wants you to receive what you are looking for, but you have to be willing to seek persistently. Read the Bible daily, and put aside some time to listen to God. He will answer you, it always takes time. Put your hands on the plow and don't look back. If the door doesn't open the first time, keep knocking! And if it doesn't open then, don't give up. Winners never quit and Quitters never win.
