| The band's big boy was born in New York, USA. He's the group's skilled drummer and although he seems to be the wrong kind to mess with, he has a soft spot for Noodle. The spirits of his talented mates, who were sadly exectuted in a drive by shooting, now take over his body and occasionly show themselves in the form of rap or a really decent drum beat. Russel went to a private school but was given the push when they discovered he'd been posessed by demons. After the shooting, his family moved to England, where Murdoc found Russel and the band started to take shape. Russel, now 25, enjoys the hip-hop high life with the Gorillaz. We love him!
