The Editor,

Daily “The News”,

Subject:           FREQUENT BREAKDOWN OF ELECTRICITY.

Sir,

Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper I want to draw the attention of the KESC  authorities to the frequent break down of electricity in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13-D. It has almost become a regular feature for the lost one month that there is power breakdown daily from dusk till last night. Several complaints have been lodged to the local power station but to the utter disappointment of all that no action has been taken as yet.

There is no denying the fact that electricity is very important and without it life comes to a stand still. The students have to bear a great loss of study. In these days of summer rooms become oven with electric fans. The power breakdown is also causing great inconvenience to the hospitals located in this area. Above that, the bad elements of the society may avail the opportunity of the darkness to achieve their objectives.

I, therefore, request you  to kindly publish this letter in the columns of  your newspaper and hope that  the KESC authorities will take a quick action to remove the distress of the people of this area.

                                                                                                Yours truly,

Subject:    INSANITARY CONDITIONS

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I beg to draw the attention of the concerned authorities to the insanitary conditions of Gulshan-e-Iqbal,  Block 13/D.

The sweepers of our area are very careless. They do not come regularly. Heaps of filth and refuse keep lying here and there and are not removed for days together. The drains are overflowing and there is  danger of malaria, typhoid and other diseases.

I, therefore, request you to kindly publish this letter in the columns of your newspaper and hope that the concerned authorities will take prompt action to redress the grievance  of the people of the area.

                                                                                                Yours faithfully,
