Q.1  When and where was Quaid-e-Azam born ?

 

Ans.  Quaid-e-Azam was born in Karachi on 25th December 1876.

 

Q.2  What do you know about his early life ?

 

Ans.  Quaid-e-Azam received his early education in  Karachi, when he was

 16 years he passed his matriculation examination and was sent to England for higher studies. When he returned to India he started his practice as a lawyer first in Karachi and then in  Bombay. The Quaid-e-Azam took part in politics which freed the Muslims from the British rule and Hindu domination.

 

Q.3   Why is 14th August 1947 an important day for us ?

 

Ans.  It is an important day for us because in this day we achieved freedom  from the British rule and our country Pakistan appeared on the map of  the world. The Pakistani nation celebrates this day every year with great pomp and show.

 

Q.4  What does  Quaid-e-Azam mean ? Why the Muslims of the Sub-Continent gave him name ?

 

Ans. Quaid-e-Azam means a great leader. The Muslims of the Sub-Continent gave him this name as an appreciation of his services to the Muslims of South Asia.

  

Q.5.   What did Quaid-e-Azam say about education ?

 

Ans.  Quaid-e-Azam laid great stress on  the importance of education . He believed  that a nation that did not educate itself would not only be left behind but would exist no more. Indeed, for a developing country like Pakistan education was a matter of life and death. Education to him did not mean academic education alone but education and character building were hand in hand.

 

Q.6   What advice did Quaid-e-Azam give to his people ?

 

Ans.  Quaid-e-Azam advised his people to educate themselves and to serve Pakistan honestly and selflessly for it was only then that Pakistan would prosper and grow stronger.

 

Q.7.  What did the Quaid-e-Azam say at the luncheon given in his honour by Dr.Ziauddin Ahmed ?

 

Ans. Speaking on the occasion our Quaid said that the Muslims can get Pakistan not by asking, not by begging, not even by mere prayers but by working with trust in God.
