PAKISTAN ZINDABAD
Pakistan Zindabad, is an essay that gives a detailed description of the character of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. This essay also discusses the days when the movement of Pakistan was in progress but the main theme lies in the portrayal of this great leader. In the first part of the essay it is stated how our Quaid was received at Karachi of the 7th of August, 1947. The first thing to mention about is the appearance of our great leader in his dignified personality and the neat dress. From this we gather that he had a decent personality.
The next thing to mention is the expressionlessness of our Quaid-e-Azam, which is further explained in his seriousness, calmness and severity. But this was not to show that he was a cold hearted person, though stern, as revealed in the brief smile the people observed when he looked at the crowd cheering in the street outside. Then the force of his personality and his determination are mentioned and it was his force of determination that made him the founder of Pakistan inspite of so many obstacles. The most important thing of this section of the essay is a quotation from him in which he gives vent to his broad mindedness and his liberal attitude toward the people of Pakistan.
Though a firm Muslim he was not the least prejudiced against other sects or people of other religions. He advocated for freedom both religious and legal and believed in equality between all the citizen of states irrespective of caste, religion of sects.
The next part of the essay gives another quotation from the Quaid in which he give the message of decision after a long delebration and determination to stand by it. It was his force of determination that made Pakistan a matter of faith for him.
Our Quaid was basically a constitutionalist. He believed in peaceful measures and was very sorry to see a long series of violence between the Hindus and the Muslims during partition days inspite of this communal clashes he never belived in a permanent hostility between the Hindus and the Muslims. He believed that “Yet an enemy of today is a friend of tomorrow”.
