Writing has been an expression in my life from the time when I received my first computer in 1980. My efforts consisted mainly of short stories, and outlined ideas which I composed throughout high school. During midterms my junior year I was selected to attend the districts new magnet program and thus transferred to school across town where the curriculum ranged from AP classes to college courses.

           Encouraged by the finest instructor I in my reminiscence, Mrs. Goaning, I entered a poetry contest, hosted by the English department. Mrs. Goaning’s ambition was to expand the young minds in her charge, encouraging us to explore our imaginations, and not solely turn into the monotonous future business leaders; this memory seems parallel to the plot of the Dead Poets Society. The appeal of verse allowed me to grow and discover avenues of my writing thus untapped at this point in my life.  I encourage you to enjoy the site and ask anything you want to know.
