Frankly, I think you are being over sensitive. I spoke from experiences I have myself witnessed. She was a Wiccan, not a Christian or a Jew, or a Celtic Reconstructionist. This is all I can speak from, my own experiences, and I will not start moderating myself or putting little disclaimers in everything I write just because someone somewhere might find it a little unPC or a little insulting.

I am not at all opposed to Wiccans. The local Pagan community is almost exclusively Wiccan, and I have found them to be a cheerful and generous lot, even if we do disagree wholeheartedly on quite a few issues. The only thing I have often found myself distinctly opposed to was the way that the same local Wiccan community seems to equate all paganism with Wicca. Certainly not all Wiccans think this way, but I have found, again, in my personal experience, that a great enough number think this way as to cause a serious concern amongst non Wiccans when they invite Wiccans into their religious organizations.

Personally, I would invite anyone who worships the Hellenic Gods into any Demos I belonged to, whether they did so in a Wiccan way or a Reconstructionist way or whatever. I would only ask such a person to leave if they were being disruptive or insisting that rituals had to be done his/her way.

Let's face facts, however, and acknowledge that there will be frictions between Hellenes and Wiccans. Not out of a sense of prejudice, but because we have distinct and sometime opposed philosophies. Doesn't mean we can't get along, just that there will be times when the frictions will be loud.
