Staci made an irate phone call to me, demanding that I remove a comment on the Agora, that wasn't there. When I told her that I had made no such comment and asked her to check the site herself, she merely got more irate and more abusive, so I hung up.
Now you're telling me that I am supposed to apologise for something that I didn't do, because Staci threw a fit? Got news for you, buddy. That's not called "being gracious". That's called being a coward. Gracious, was not attaching the name of the Village to Staci's outrageous behavior. What you seem unable to get is that some friendships come at too high a cost to one's self-respect to be worth the bother.
As for your defense of Sally, whatever a man's motives are, he is without honor when he chooses the truth as his debating partner. I wish you all the rest, but please enjoy it in my absence.
This is goodbye, Frank. Don't write. Don't call. I really don't appreciate this kind of Twilight Zone logic, and I really don't have any desire to live in the bizarre little world that it creates.
