Hi Antistoicus and Whomever,

First, I am sorry you ran into the vorpal blades of (name withheld). He is a (expletitive deleted) and is very much an enemy to my good state of mind. The only reason I even deal with his comments is to contradict lies.

Second, I am not nuetral. Not now or ever, I amvery pro community (*). I back up Staci's statements 100%, and if she felt the Blessed Village Piece on Angora is inappropriate, then you should have the good graciousness to be respectful and remove it. Further, Sally is very respected and has been a pillar of strength for me at times.

Third, You better get a thicker skin, because this ain't nothin in ways of attacks. Wait until the FBI, DCFS, The Police and others come to your door. Or better yet, when the entirety of the community turns on you. I know because I have been through all of this. Hell, Just last year I had close friends turn on Me, and drag their whole Groups into a agruement about New Age Artshow and Much of the damage is pretty permanent. It was what led me to stop publishing the Gazette.

Fourth, Are you trying to produce a Magazine or a service, or are you trying to find a place within the community, they are not the same thing. (1) The damage you are doing, will last at least 6 months and as much of a year, and will hurt any effort to bring out a magazine. Publish if you want.

MY ADVICE, CHOOSE BATTLES THAT ARE MEANINGFUL, AND IGNORE ALL OTHERS. Hell, If everyone knew all the critics i have and all the attacks I receive, I would look like a whiny basket case, Not the individual on the Verge of Being the First Dedicated Pagan Service Worker in South Africa, as well as Chicago (2).

I repsect what you are trying do, but all I am saying is to try avoiding the personal attacks (3). It is making my life uncomfortable, because This is only creating a even Larger Demand for the Gazette.

Blessed Be,
Frank

(*) This may be the crudest bit of spin doctoring that we've encountered, to date, with Frank trying to pass favoritism off, as devotion to the community. It's sort of reminiscent of the old adage, "patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel". But then again, as Frank will soon explain to us, he does have to deal with plots by the FBI, which as near as we can tell from his account, has nothing better to do with its time, than investigate small metaphysical discussion groups in the Midwest.

Perhaps we should be glad that Frank doesn't go around with aluminum foil on his head to protect him from the thought waves being transmitted by the CIA. Yet.

(1) Nothing like a little dogmatism to get a good discussion going, eh, Frank? This comment is addressed elsewhere. Wait a while, and we'll come to this very point later in the discussion. Somehow, we get that the feeling that a philosophical discussion would be wasted on him, though.

Click here to return to where you were in the text.

(2) Not at all self-absorbed, are we, Frank? Notice how he grabs on this, as a chance to do a little self-promoting.

(3) No, Frank, all that you are telling us is not to stick up for ourselves when one of your friends attacks us. All we're telling you is to get serious.
