Why, yes, of course, even if one excludes the "Greek Wiccans". There probably has never been a time when there weren't, in the last few millenia. It is only recently, however, that we've felt free to mention our affiliation, and even now, only to those who have earned our trust. Narrow minded reactions are still widespread, which is why one still sees the use of pseudonyms, and why the practice of "outing" another Pagan or Traditionalist is frowned on.

In the Chicago area, we could mention a few gatherings that take place through Meetup: "Followers of Aphrodite" and "Followers of the Olympians"; we'll see how those develop. I've already mentioned the Stele. Here are a few more sites devoted to the Hellenic gods and to Hellenism, at least one belonging to an organized groups and others to individual worshippers or interested parties.

Hellenic Groups

  1. The Hellenion Proto-Demos tes Hagnes Persephones :

    1. A Hellenic reconstructionist group serving the north-western part of PA, and south-western part of NY, they are Hard Polytheistic Reconstructionists.

Re: Specific Deities

  1. Apollo worshippers :

    1. The Pythia's Page won't be coming back, according to its author, but, if one wished, one could still browse through archived copies of some of its old pages, I suppose.

  2. Hades worshippers :

    1. The House of Hades

(Note : I have to look through this one a little more. I'm not sure whether "Persephone" is a worshipper of Hades, or not, though the name she has taken certainly suggests the former.

Good news : almost all of the pages she lost, when Angelfire deleted her site were recoverable from the Internet Archive, though a few are still missing. The site is now back on line).

  3. Dionysus worshippers :

    1. Sannion's Sanctuary

Note: Sannion's Sanctuary is at a new location, having become the third Hellenic Traditionalist site in a row that I've seen Angelfire delete. Please take this as a strong recommendation to not do business with these people. Sannion can currently be found at the House of Vines
    2. Technitai Dionusou
      (The Artists of Dionysus)

Warning!

There is a group calling itself "The Church of Zeus and Ganymede". The only thing that is Hellenic about this group, is its name. There is nothing religious about it, whatsoever. Read its literature anywhere beyond the opening blurb, and cut through the manipulative rhetoric, and you will soon discover that its "religion" is nothing more than a front for pedophilia. The Church of Zeus and Ganymede is a so-called "boy lovers" group. Be sure to stay away from these people and, more importantly, make sure that your children stay away from them. If you are a Hellenist yourself, and have a chance, be sure to pass along this warning.
