"Informative"? No, what I see is a lot of ranting and raving that just happens to suit the prejudices of your respondants. As a proud Christo-Pagan Synchretist (and former Jew) I found your content-free tirades tiresome. One can't even say that you've found an original way to be hateful. The self-righteous paranoia and the careless lumping together of the hated "other" are tediously familiar to anybody who had to grow up dealing with the Ku Klux Klan, even the misplaced sense of victimhood.

Regarding the Christo - Pagans who constantly attack CHU. All genuine Pagans should now realise that these mixed up individuals speak for nobody but 'themselves.' There is tons of evidence on CHU's extensive site that shows how these spiritual dictators deal with anyone who fails to tow the Christo-Pagan intertfaith line. The plastic 'Xtian Pagans' (a true contradiction of terms here) are always looking for converts for Christ!

Looks like PAN has touched a sore point somewhere with the 'Xtian supporting' brigade judging by the remarks from 'Antistoicus'. He/she should get back to the church pews where his heart 'really' belongs and let real wiccans get on with defending the old faiths!

Gertrude, was it? I'm so amused by that comment about letting the "real Wiccans" get back to work, as I've never pretended to be a Wiccan and one of the first things that one sees coming into my group's homepage is the statement that "we are not a Wiccan group". Truly amazing how many people have passed that and not seemed able to read that, judging from how many requests that I used to get for "love spells", before I took our mail link out. Not all Pagans are Wiccan. Imagine that!
"Tobias", let me see if I have this straight : I'm a "spiritual dictator", because I won't let you and your friends dictate to me which deities I may worship and which I may not? I think that you have that a little backwards. If you're looking for something dictatorial, the common practice of trying to shove Wicca down the throats of non-Wiccan Pagans would do nicely, your paranoid fantasies about invisible Christo-Pagan missionaries notwithstanding.

Gertrude, you're in a very weak position to be calling anybody "hateful", and it is an inversion of the language to call opposition to bigotry a form of "hate". The fact that you and your friends are bigoted against a mainstream group does not transform your bigotry into enlightenment or your hatred into love. Nor will your tirades make these sad realities go away. They merely reveal you to be an immature person who grows abusive when she isn't told what she wants to hear.
Point of correction : Gertrude didn't say "hateful", but she did refer to "fanatical ranting", which certainly implies something hateful. Either way, look who's talking.

Antistoicus, You really do seem to love the sound of your own voice don't you! And SPAMMING a site is probably the biggest kick you get all week. If all plastic Christo-Pagans are as hostile and angry as you then they will have to do better than you if they want to turn other pagans into 'Soldiers for Jesus' as you obviously desire. How nice too the way in which you demonise everyone that fails to agree with your 'evangelical' crusade for christ.

Gertrude, I must look like a mirror to you, because every time that you try to describe me, you end up painting a portrait of yourself. I have yet, either here or anywhere else, to try to convert anybody to the worship of any deity, and you have certainly tried to demonise those who have refused to join you on your petty crusade of anti-Christian hatred. But my, it takes such courage to pick a fight while staying totally anonymous, never daring to give out one's e-mail address.
